It is pleasant to be a good man and a good woman. The scripture explained,
“A good man (and woman) deals graciously and lends; he will guide his affairs with discretion. Surely he will never be shaken; the righteous will be in everlasting remembrance. He will not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord. His heart is established; he will not be afraid, until he sees his desire upon his enemies. He has dispersed abroad, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures forever; his horn will be exalted with honor” (Psalm 112:5-9).
Lesson:
A good person who faithfully follows God will not be overcome by any storm of life. The battle may be tough but God will bring his faithful followers to a safe shore. Even in the midst of persecutions, sons and daughters of God will shout for victory; however, the wicked people who oppress the righteous ones will melt like wax melts before the fire, and they will have themselves to blame – unless they repent.
Prayer:
I pray that God establishes my heart to be steadfast and not be moved by any
windstorm of persecution or attack. May the Lord Jesus Christ keep me safe till the day of his second coming when he will transport all saints to his heavenly home. May he count me worthy to receive his imperishable crown of glory, and may he decorate my life with beauty and honor forever! For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
