September 24 – God Is Great And Greatly To Be Praised
All people should praise God; we should learn from a psalmist that stated,
“Bless the Lord, O my soul! O Lord my God, You are very great: You are clothed with honor and majesty, Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain. He lays the beams of His upper chambers in the waters, Who makes the clouds His chariot, Who walks on the wings of the wind, Who makes His angels spirits, His ministers a flame of fire” (Psalm104:1-4).
Lesson:
The unfathomable wisdom of God surpasses human comprehension, and it is difficult to quantify. In fact, God’s power is beyond what any scholar can analyze. It is, therefore, necessary for all people to reverence God and praise him for all his goodness.
Prayer:
I praise you God for you are so good to the people that you have created. Your goodness towards people is immeasurable, therefore I appreciate you. I ask that you continue to enlighten my heart to recognize your goodness so that I can praise you more. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
