An act of wickedness is an abomination to God, and he will punish it. No wicked person will go scot-free without punishment – unless repented. The scripture explained a wicked person,
“…He (or she) lies in wait secretly, as a lion in his den; He lies in wait to catch the poor; He catches the poor when he draws him into his net. So he crouches, he lies low, that the helpless may fall by his strength. He has said in his heart, “God has forgotten; He hides His face; He will never see” (Psalms 10:9-11).
Lesson:
Nemesis will catch up with wicked people – unless they repent. God will measure their evil acts and reward them accordingly. Since the Creator is powerful, his judgment over wicked people may be severe. Therefore, all people are required to have godly fear and exercise justice. Jehovah will bless people that fairly treat others and exercise genuine love.
Prayer:
Dear God, I do not want to be a wicked person; therefore, please help me to be just and demonstrate true love towards others. Let me utilize whatever opportunity I have to bless others and glorify your name. Let your Holy Spirit empower me to remain your faithful child throughout the days of my life. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
