The promises of God stand sure on anyone that faithfully serves him. The scripture establishes this fact when it says
“The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; they shall be fresh and flourishing” (Psalm 92:12-14).
Lesson:
A person who faithfully serves God has nothing to lose, but he will have every good thing to gain. The more we serve God, the better our lives will become. The Creator will open doors of opportunity for us, and he will lavish us with his goodness. Unbelievers will observe our blessings and be motivated to serve God as well.
Prayer:
Dear God, please give me the grace to faithfully serve you always so that I can qualify for your blessings. Let your benefits be pronounced in my life so that all people can testify to your goodness. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
