Human generations began from Adam and Eve; they gave birth to Cain, Abel, and Seth. Abel and Seth also procreated; their children also gave birth to others, and the list continued to grow. Humans have flourished the earth to enjoy God’s provisions that are now commonly known as “nature.” A few of Adam’s descendants are mentioned,
“Adam, Sheth, Enosh, Kenan, Mahalaleel, Jered, Henoch, Methuselah, Lamech, Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth…” (1 Chronicles 1:1-4).
Lesson:
God specially made humans flourish the earth that he created. Out of countless creatures that he made, he paid special attention to humans. He gave us the “human soul,” and the ability to dominate other creatures. In fact, God’s favor and grace towards humanity cannot be overemphasized. The least that we can do is to appreciate the Creator and serve him with a sincere heart!
Prayer:
I thank the Almighty God for creating me in his image. I appreciate him for giving me his spirit and a soul. I really thank God for creating me as a human being and giving me dominion over other things that he created. All I ask my God is to give me the ability to satisfy him with my life. I plead for God’s grace and mercy to comply with his desires so that I can always be recognized as a grateful child. May the grace of the Almighty God be sufficient for me now and always! For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
