The scripture challenged all Christians to fully comply with God’s laws. Believers must live consistent lifestyles with the bible, and we must be matured in our approach to physical and spiritual matters. It is emphasized in the scripture,
“For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God; and you have come to need milk and not solid food. For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe. But solid food belongs to those who are of full age, that is, those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil” (Hebrews 5:12-14).
Lesson:
God is interested in seeing his children (Christians) grow in a closer relationship with him. Christians should grow in faith, and not remain in the same position. We are expected to grow and improve in our prayer lives. We must study the bible more, and practicalize our faith. As Christ’s followers, we are expected to get stronger in faith and become more mature. We must daily interact with God and live a consistent life with him. If we remain consistent, our heavenly Father will reward us with his benefits in this life, and in heaven also.
Prayer:
Dear God, I understand that you want me to have an improved relationship with you, and I am now ready. I have made up my mind to serve you better. I am willing to study your word more and live a devoted life before you. Please baptize me with your Holy Spirit to have enough strength to meet your expectations. Please let my services be acceptable before you, and let me qualify for your blessings in this life, and in heaven also. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
