God’s wonder could be easily accounted for in David’s life. He hailed from a common family in a small town, and he held no significant position among his siblings, yet God had a special plan for his life. The Creator raised David from a very lowly position to a high ranking one. He made him prevail over his life battles and crowned him as the rightful king of Israel. The scripture testified,
“…So David went on and became great, and the Lord of hosts was with him” (1 Chronicles 11:9).
Lesson:
God does not lie, and he will not change his position towards his children. He will fulfill whatever he has promised them – under whatever condition. Although life battle may be tough and the going may be tough, children of God will ultimately have victory. Since God never compromised a promise, he will not change his mind, but he will stand by his word to see his children sharing testimony.
Prayer:
Dear God, please declare your promises of goodness over my life. I know that your promises are sure, and they will come to pass. Therefore, I ask that you please declare into my life good health, long life, and prosperity. Please help me to enjoy all your goodness from now and always. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
