David prayed a direct prayer that applies to everyone who aims at receiving some benefits from God. The man David said,
“May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you; May He send you help from the sanctuary, And strengthen you out of Zion; May He remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt sacrifice. May He grant you according to your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your purpose” (Psalm 20:1-4).
Lesson:
Prayer is essential to invoke the power of God in any situation. Believers are to express their feelings to God through prayers; they are to describe their situations to God and beg him to be involved. However, believers are expected to exercise faith once they have prayed to God. Prayers of faith will allow God’s Spirit to engage any situation and fight unto victory. Meanwhile, the faith applied will persuade believers to glorify God once their expected victory is obtained.
Prayer:
In the name of Jesus Christ, I command the challenges of my life to bow! I rebuke Satan and I command him to remove his dirty hands from my life. I command sickness, poverty, failure, sin, and all works of Satan to cease in my life. I obtain my victory today, tomorrow, and forever in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
