Jesus Christ taught the Pharisees some bitter truth that provoked them to rage. He said,
“Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day, and he saw it and was glad.” Then the Jews said to Him, “You are not yet fifty years old, and have you seen Abraham?” Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM.” Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by” (John 8:56-59).
Lesson:
Jesus Christ was born on earth as a human being, but he is more than a regular human being. He is God in human form. Truly while Jesus was on earth, he walked like a man and talked like a man, but he was not an ordinary man – He was God’s incarnate! The scripture testified that Jesus is God in human flesh when it stated, “In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was at the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him, nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it” (John 1:1-5).
Prayer:
Jesus is God in human flesh, and he is Lord. I am convinced that Jesus is the savior of the world. Therefore, I yield my complete life to him. I am saying it again that my complete life is yielded to Jesus Christ! I command Satan to get lost from my life since I am now a child of God. I have made my emphatic declarations through the authority in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
