Post

Jesus Christ asked his disciples, including all Christians throughout the world, to prepare for his second coming (The rapture). That is, our Lord Jesus Christ who ascended to heaven will also return to earth to transport us to his kingdom. Believers must not be carried away with the cares of the world and compromise our godly standard. Jesus Christ said, “Blessed are those servants whom the master when he comes, will find watching. Assuredly, I say to you that he will gird himself and have them sit down *to eat,* and will come and serve them. And if he should come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find *them* also, blessed are those servants. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect” (Luke 12:37-40).

Lesson

People who have confessed their faith in Jesus Christ must ensure to keep their testimony to the end. Believers must not compromise our faith so that God can reward us in the end. All Christians must faithfully serve God and patiently wait for the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Christ who ascended to heaven will also return to earth, and he will transport us to his heavenly kingdom.

Meanwhile, believers must be prepared to endure some trial moments in the process of waiting for the return of Christ. Satan will persecute the saints: He will tempt us with some comfortable (but ungodly) situations; he will also use some uncomfortable situations to persecute us. Irrespective of any weapon that the enemy uses, believers must remain un-compromised! We must ensure to keep our testimony unto the end.

No Christian should allow Satan to prevail over him or her under whatever circumstance. Everyone must be watchful and prayerful. We must consistently study our Bible and also allow the Holy Spirit to guide us into complying with the standard of God.

Indeed, any Christian who allows the Holy Spirit to rule him or her will have enough strength to overcome Satan’s temptations and live uprightly with God!

A believer who stands uprightly with God and keeps his or her testimony will be richly rewarded in heaven. God will award every faithful Christian with an imperishable crown of glory in his kingdom.

The faithful Christians shall reign eternally with Christ in heaven!

Prayer

Dear God, please help me to consistently serve you unto the end. Give me the ability to resist the temptations of the enemy. Also, help me to endure the persecutions of the enemy. Let the Holy Spirit guide me to consistently study my Bible and faithfully serve you unto the end so that I can qualify for an imperishable crown of glory in your eternal kingdom. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen!
