The existence of Jesus Christ did not begin at the manger when Mary physically gave birth to him, he had been in long existence before that time! Jesus has been in existence prior to earth creation; he witnessed and played a part in it. In fact, Jesus was the brain behind the creation of the world; he was the Word of God that made things happened! The scripture attested,
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was at the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and nothing was made without him. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it” (John 1:1-5).
Lesson:
The life of Jesus Christ did not begin at the manger when Mary gave birth to him. Jesus has been in existence for a long time before the New Testament. Jesus has always been with God in heaven prior to the creation of the earth. In fact, Jesus could not be separated from God: He was the breath of God, and he was the voice of God. Jesus was the utterance that God used to create the world – and everything that it contains. Although earthly people may consider Jesus as the Son of God, it is ideally impossible to separate him from God. Any psychological effort to separate Jesus from God is an attempt to separate God from his own voice. Therefore, since Jesus Christ is a vital and inseparable part of God, it must be concluded that Jesus Christ is God! He is God in human form. All things were made through him, and nothing else was made without him!
Prayer:
Dear Jesus Christ, I believe that you are God in human form. Since I have known you as the Son of God, I would also be confident to call you God. Meanwhile, I understand that the requirement set for people to go to heaven is that they must believe that you are the Son of God, and they must confess you as Lord (John 3:16; Romans 10:9). Therefore, I have chosen to meet all requirements. I confess you, Jesus Christ, as the Son of God (God in human flesh), and accept you as my personal Lord and Savior. Amen.
