The word of God admonished us to lean less on ourselves but lean more on God. It is written,
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths” (Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV).
In a practical sense, attempt to do the following to improve your dependency on God. Try to do the following in order to increase your reliance on God:

Read the Bible – Reading Scripture can be a great source of comfort during difficult times. It can provide insight into how God works in our lives and inspire us to trust Him more fully. Talk to Others – Talking with other believers can help you stay focused on trusting in God during hard times. It can be helpful to hear how others have faced similar struggles and have come through them by relying on faith in God’s plan for their lives. Find Joy in Small Things – Remind yourself of the good things that still exist in your life, even if it’s just a cup of coffee or a warm
