July 10 – Stay Away From Wickedness To Avoid God’s Wrath

Daily Bible Life

God hates wickedness. He will not allow wicked people to go scot-free, but punish them in due time. The scripture described wickedness, “They (wicked people) Slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless. Yet they say, “The Lord does not see, nor does the God of Jacob understand” (Psalm 94:6-7). God will repay evil people for their wicked acts as the bible stated, “Understand, you senseless among the people; and you fools, when will you be wise? He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see? He who instructs the nations, shall He not correct, He who teaches man knowledge?” (Psalm 94:8-10).

Lesson:

God sees and knows all things; he sees and takes note of the people who engage in evil practices. Jehovah will reward those people for their wicked acts in due time. The best option that a wicked person has to escape God’s wrath is repentance. This is the only true way to escape God’s imminent judgement and also, obtain his salvation. Yes, God is interested to save any wicked person who humbly returns to him with a heart of repentance! The Creator will forgive those people and rebuild their lives to glorify his name.

Everyone is, therefore, encouraged to fear God and serve him with the integrity of their hearts. We must all submit to the feet of Jesus Christ, confess him as our personal Lord and Savior, so that we can be saved! God’s benefits shall remain with people who exercise godly fear in their activities. Those people will not only receive God’s benefits on earth, but also receive his blessings in heaven.

Prayer:

Dear God, please help me to live in righteousness everyday of my life. Please make me a God-fearing person who cares for other people. Do not let me practice wickedness, but let my heart be opened to receiving Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior. Please count me worthy of your blessings in this life, and in heaven . For in the name of Jesus Christ, I make my requests. Amen.
