February 28 – Christian: Stay Within Your Boundary!

Daily Bible Life

One of King David’s men touched the Ark of Covenant (of God) when it was not his business to do so; the anger of God erupted and the man died instantly. The Bible reported, as King David assigned a special convoy to transport the Ark of Covenant to Jerusalem, “Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Uzza, and He struck him because he put his hand to the ark; and he died there before God” (1 Chronicles 13:10).

Lesson:

Christians have the obligation to obey God’s instructions to the letter to appease God, and also to prosper. Believers must not be over-zealous to engage in God’s business rashly. We must follow the commandment of God and revere him since he is the Almighty God – The Creator of the universe. No one should deal with God’s business with carnality. God is a Spirit; believers must serve him in Spirit and in truth (John 4:24).

Christians must meet the standard of God in order to prosper! Unfortunately, some people thought they could help God in his plan by introducing their personal ideas to meddle with his business. Those people are playing with fire! For example, a person who engages in a battle with any servant of God may found himself or herself to blame.

Some folks have made it their personal business to engage in church politics and fight the servants of God. The action of the rebels has a residual effect on God’s business. That is, as a servant of God suffers from an abuse, the matter of God’s kingdom is also affected; therefore, God will be provoked to take a revengeful action.

God is different from any man. He thinks differently and acts differently. He also won’t allow any human being to share his glory; therefore, whosoever obstruct his kingdom business will regret it.

God knows how to properly discipline anyone that negatively influence his kingdom’ business. Whoever meddles with God’s business should be expecting God’s punishment in an unprecedented manner!

Prayer:

Dear God, please help me to be disciplined to maintain my jurisdiction and not get involved in a business that may hurt your kingdom. Help me to only engage in a business that will honor you and bless people. Give me the grace to be your true ambassador on earth. Help me to be a source of positive influence and promote your interest everywhere I go.

Please do not let me become a Satanic agent that negatively influence the church! Do not let me participate in any activity that can divide the brethren. Please help me to faithfully serve you unto the end so that I can inherit your eternal kingdom. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
