Holy Spirit does remarkable works in believers’ lives. People who relies on the power of God will prosper in every area of his (or her) life. People who allow Holy Spirit to guide them will bear much fruits for the kingdom of God. The leadership of Holy Spirit was evident in Paul’s life (as well as other early believers) as the Bible reported, “Now when they (Paul, Silas, and Timothy) had gone through Phrygia and the region of Galatia, they were forbidden by the Holy Spirit to preach the word in Asia. After they had come to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit did not permit them. So passing by Mysia, they came down to Troas. And a vision appeared to Paul in the night. A man of Macedonia stood and pleaded with him, saying, “Come over to Macedonia and help us.” Now after he had seen the vision, immediately we sought to go to Macedonia, concluding that the Lord had called us to preach the gospel to them” (Acts 16:6-10).

Lesson:

Holy Spirit signifies the presence of God. He is God’s active part with prominent operations in believers’ lives. Holy Spirit can be compared with today’s Global Positioning System (GPS) that people rely on for road guidance. Holy Spirit will help a believer to know the right step to in any situation. He will also empower a believer to properly function to meet God’s desires. Holy Spirit aids effective evangelism to bear much fruits for God’s kingdom. Anyone who allows Holy Spirit to operate in his life will prosper both physically and spiritually. It is important that each believer seriously pray for this Divine Spirit of God to prosper on earth and also qualify for heaven.

Prayer:

Dear God, Please let your Holy Spirit direct my footsteps so that I can prosper. Let your Divine Spirit guide me into living a holy and acceptable life before you! Let him empower me to engage in an effective evangelism that will be profitable for your kingdom. Let your Spirit richly dwell in me so that I can make it to your eternal kingdom. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
