God performed many miracles through Prophet Elisha during his lifetime. Through him dead body came back to life, a metal hatchet floated on the water, and a prolonged famine became overturned in one night. However, Elisha’s greatest testimony is yet to be mentioned! His dead bone raised another dead body! The scripture unfolded the event as quoted,
“Then Elisha died, and they buried him. And the raiding bands from Moab invaded the land in the spring of the year. So it was, as they were burying a man, that suddenly they spied a band of raiders; and they put the man in the tomb of Elisha; and when the man was let down and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived and stood on his feet” (2 Kings 13:20-21).
Lesson:
God is full of wonders, and he will do great things for his children. God will bless his children and he will use them to bless other people as well. A person who diligently serves God and obeys his instructions will have a basket full of testimony. There would be nothing to restrict the fellow from having success! Therefore, all people must understand that serving God has great gains. Anyone who summons the courage to maintain a good relationship with God will not regret it – under whatever condition!
Prayer:
Dear God, I realized that you will perform great wonders for anyone who faithfully serves and obey your instructions. Therefore, I want to obey you and maintain a good relationship with you. Please help me to shun every form of ungodliness so that I can enjoy you deeply. Let me love and serve you well, and let me qualify to receive your undaunted blessings on earth and in heaven. For in the name of Jesus Christ I make my requests. Amen.
