Christians are children of God, and we are the partakers of God’s blessings proclaimed in the bible. Any individual Christian (or a Christian group) can claim bible blessings without restriction. The blessings of the bible apply to all Christians throughout the world For example, the blessings in Paul’s prayer rendered for the Ephesians Christian several years ago still apply to us – Today’s Christians. Paul’s prayers apply to today’s Christians to benefits. Everyone (including Christians) is prone to temptation of pride. Children of God must take extra caution not to fall into the pitfall. Every child of God must cautiously make efforts not to fall for Satan’s trick of self-pride! No doubt that Satan – the enemy of righteousness – would first attempt pride as an attack tool to make a successful Christian stumble into sin. The enemy would tempt a Christian to be self-focus and/or be self-gratifying without the consciousness of glorifying God. (A practice considered detestable to God). Instead of anyone becoming obsessive of his (or her) achievement, he should make efforts to divert due glory to God. A good Christian will divert people’s attention to God under whatever circumstance! God asked Israelites (his people) to repent from their sins to qualify for his blessings. God emphasized that holiness is important to him, and it will automatically attract his blessing. (People who repent from their sins and serve God in holiness will enjoy his benefits). God said, “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes. Cease to do evil, Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow. “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool.
