CHRISTIANS TO BEWARE OF PRIDE AND AVOID PITFALL

CHRISTIANS TO BEWARE OF PRIDE AND AVOID PITFALL

Everyone (including Christians) is prone to temptation of pride. Children of God must take extra caution not to fall into the pitfall. Every child of God must cautiously make efforts not to fall for Satan’s trick of self-pride! No doubt that Satan – the enemy of righteousness – would first attempt pride as an attack tool to make a successful Christian stumble into sin. The enemy would tempt a Christian to be self-focus and/or be self-gratifying without the consciousness of glorifying God. (A practice considered detestable to God). Instead of anyone becoming obsessive of his (or her) achievement, he should make efforts to divert due glory to God. A good Christian will divert people’s attention to God under whatever circumstance! It is un-disputable fact to state that no one can successfully make anything happen without the help of God. “…A man can...Read more
GOD’S ADMONITION ON REPENTANCE

GOD’S ADMONITION ON REPENTANCE

God asked Israelites (his people) to repent from their sins to qualify for his blessings. God emphasized that holiness is important to him, and it will automatically attract his blessing. (People who repent from their sins and serve God in holiness will enjoy his benefits). God said, “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Put away the evil of your doings from before my eyes. Cease to do evil, Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow. “Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be as wool. If you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the good of the land; But if you refuse and rebel, you shall be devoured by the sword”; for the mouth of the Lord has spoken” (Isaiah...Read more
God Never Fail Promises: He is Ever Faithful

God Never Fail Promises: He is Ever Faithful

God is ever faithful; he keeps promises. God will remain true to his words, and he will keep them under whatever circumstance so that all people can glorify his name. A direct reference to this topic can be read from the Bible when King David witnessed many goodness of God, and recounted some of them in return appreciations (to the Creator). King David, the man of God recounted Jehovah’s efforts that lead Israelites out of the land of Egypt and brought them to the Promised Land – A land flowing with “milk and honey.” David stated, “When they went from one nation to another, And from one kingdom to another people, He permitted no man to do them wrong; Yes, He rebuked kings for their sakes, Saying, “Do not touch my anointed ones, and do my prophets no harm.” (1 Chronicles 16:20-22 NKJV). Remember: God is ever faithful and...Read more
Miracles of Jesus Have Deep Meaning

Miracles of Jesus Have Deep Meaning

Miracles of Jesus Are Beyond Ordinary Miracles of Jesus Christ are beyond the ordinaries! All miracles performed by Jesus Christ, as recorded in the scriptures, are extraordinary: He raised dead persons to live; he healed sick people, and he also fed thousands of people with few breads and few fishes. However, Christ also performed some other unimaginable miracles that even busted his disciples’s mind: Jesus spoke to wind and storms, and they obeyed to him. Bible reported one of the rare moments as written,   “Now it happened, on a certain day, that He got into a boat with His disciples. And He said to them, “Let us cross over to the other side of the lake.” And they launched out. But as they sailed He fell asleep. And a windstorm came down on the lake, and they were filling with water, and were in jeopardy. And they came to Him and awoke Him, saying,...Read more
Trust God and Wait For His Salvation

Trust God and Wait For His Salvation

Believers must trust God and have full assurance that he is in control of our lives. Jehovah is ever present with his people; he will remain close to us and remain faithful to his promises in our lives.   The heavenly Father will ever remain present to cater for us (his children) in whatever circumstances of life we may be undergoing.   God will help us overcome problems.   God will move mountains and level valleys for as many that can completely trust him.   It is important that Christians trust God in every situation. The scripture reminds us, “God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea” (Psalm 46:1-2).     Some Challenges That Christians May Face in Trusting God The call for Christians to trust God may sound...Read more

Compassion of Jesus Christ Lead To Miracles

Compassion Drove Jesus Into Performing Miracles Jesus Christ raised a dead man back to life, and he handed him over to his mother who thought her only life hope was dashed. The scripture reported the incident, “And when He (Jesus) came near the gate of the city, behold, a dead man was being carried out, the only son of his mother; and she was a widow. And a large crowd from the city was with her. When the Lord saw her, He had compassion on her and said to her, “Do not weep.” Then He came and touched the open coffin, and those who carried him stood still. And He said, “Young man, I say to you, arise.” So he who was dead sat up and began to speak. And He presented him to his mother” (Luke 7:12-15).   Compassion Lesson of Jesus Christ Compassion was Jesus fundamental principle of Jesus while on earth.
