Skeptics have criticized the theory of Rapture. Some have even attacked teachings about End Time. Meanwhile, bible warned Christians to abstain from people who may persuade us to doubt the teachings of Jesus’ second coming.
It is written, “Beloved, I now write to you…that you may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.”
…But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is long-suffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up….” (2 Peter 3:1-9).
Teachings about End Time and the second coming of Jesus Christ are important for all. The teachings are validated in the bible (Matthew 24). The second coming of Jesus Christ is imminent and everyone must prepare for it. Human skepticism about end time and rapture cannot change God’s mind. God does not operate like human beings. He uses a different calendar (and his views are pure)!
Humans must not underestimate God’s timing which may be different from ours. The bible states, “… with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” (2 Peter 3:8). The second coming of Jesus Christ is imminent. Christ will return as promised, and transport his saint to heaven. Whoever left behind will suffer devil’s torture. The person would be eventually sent to hell fire. (Rev. 21:8).
It is important that everyone confess Jesus Christ as God’s Son to be saved.
Confess Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior to escape the punishment of hell fire and qualify for heaven.
Dear God, please qualify me for your kingdom. I confess my faith in Jesus Christ. I believe he died for my sins. I also believe he resurrected from dead to give me eternal life. From now on, I repent from my sins, and I dedicate my complete life to Jesus Christ. I will serve him till he returns to transport me to his kingdom. Thank you Jesus Christ for your saving grace! Amen.
